Splurge Me

if you have seen these shoes before and were wondering how can i obtain a pair. These are jeffery campbell shoes. and i would like to file them in the "splurge a check on em'" category. These shoes are truly a fashion must have for every season. There are now new colors released for the spring/summer season. you can wear this with high waist pants and a tube top or a mini dress out to dinner with the bf. each color runs for $162 which is a days work for me.
its worth it tho to step out in these head turning shoes.
However if you dont want to splurge jessica simpson collection has a similar pair called the DANY now marked down for $50.

work what you got

so not everyone has a closet like Carrie from Sex and the City but we do need to work with the space we have. so the new trend in closet and space saving is building cabinets and drawers within your closet space. this room used an iron rod and hung up a curtain in front of her open face closet which gives it a homey cute feel. utilize hanger space but also above the hanger rod and below the space where your clothes end. keep easy wrinkling fabrics hung, like silk blazers, dress trousers, dress shirts, and blouses.
if you are working on a budget ikea has great chic solutions. if you need cheap more then chic, target also has great space saver for under $20. These white drawers on the right normally go for $500-$600 go for $250 at Ikea.

Happy Shopping.

winter musts

Now that the weather has dropped so low that you haveta wear a jacket instead of layer
i thought i would bring out the fabulous winter musts
at the top of that list would be
1. A sturdy pair of fabulous boots to keep the snow out.
I recommend UGGS, they dont just make comfy boots for high school girls anymore
their Casdy boot (seen below) is warm and cute and will last a lifetime.
2. The circular scarf
this scarf has gained much deserved popularity over the past two years and is a convenient winter accessory for keeping your neck warm and adding a pop of color peeking out of your usually monotone winter jacket. i recommend buying one from american apparel which has a multitude of uses and a great length
3. Lastly on my brief list of winter musts in the long glove. remember those ballroom gloves you wore at your sweet 16 to look like cinderella?
well now they are back to keep your whole arm warm for the winter. my recommendation is forever 21 fingerless long gloves for 7.80. fingers free for texting and wrists warm.

happy shopping.

on the military wave

we all love Doc Martens but they can range in prices from $100- $150
Dr. Marten has done a line for Sanrio. Instead of spending over hundred dollars on a hello kitty military boot, make your own hello kitty inspired boots.
Steve Madden and Forever 21 have military boots ranging from $30- $75.
While creating ur inspiration think of buying the following craft goods:
  • glitter
  • ribbon
  • rhinestones
  • paint
after you have chosen your idea. work with a hot glue gun to mold your look into fruition.
as a gift i used rhinestones for the toe part of the boot and red ribbon to make bows and place them on the outside edges of the boot. I did this on black leather forever 21 military style boot.
no matter what your holiday needs, you can customize your gifts to ur friends intrests without breaking the bank.
